WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING: We have parking spaces where you can leave your car and from there we will transport you and all your belongings down to the yurt in the tractor. Being a farm, it’s always a good idea to bring a pair of wellies with you for stomping about the land, but also we ask that people don’t wear any shoes into the yurt and therefore footwear you can easily slip on and off is advisable. Walking boots can be good too if you want to go on any hikes.
We’ll give you a good stock of firewood to get you going. If you need any more you can purchase an extra basket of firewood for £5. Please also bring along a torch (although don’t worry too much if you forget as we have paraffin lamps on site).
Cooking utensils etc are all provided at the kitchen area by the yurt but for showering please bring your own towels. Also, please bring along your own sheets, pillowcases and duvet cover as we only supply the duvet and pillows themselves.
As mentioned, vegetables and free-range organic eggs can be bought from the farm. For everything else you might want, the small town nearby has several shops, little supermarkets, and delis, along with a butcher and greengrocer selling local produce.
Unfortunately it isn’t possible for you to bring pets.
